The Palermo dining room table is available in four different types of wood, as shown below. Oldwood is known for delivering high-quality products and this is also reflected in the different types of wood. New oak is FSC approved from France. Old oaks, sawn from old beams that served as construction in old farms, mostly from Twente and Overijssel. Due to the age of this wood, it has a darker color and a lived appearance. American walnut, dark in color and gives (depending on the treatment with an oil) a beautiful and warm appearance. Barnwood, our cheapest type of wood, but certainly not the least! A coniferous wood type with a robust appearance and a unique character, often wood that has served as the covering of old barns. Do you opt for a barnwood table? Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

With new oak you have the choice to determine the degree of rusticness. When you choose a slightly rustic new oak top, there are few knots and cracks in the top. Knots and cracks are present in a medium rustic top and heavy rustic has many knots and cracks, giving the top a very robust appearance.

Matte lacquer is the most common and user-friendly finish. Due to the matt lacquer, the table top does not change color and the wood appears untreated. With a matt lacquer, the wood is protected against moisture and dirt and the table can be wiped with a damp cloth. In addition, you can choose to finish the table with an oil. However, maintenance is required from time to time. We have a wide choice in the field of those oils, you will find a selection below. If your desired color is not listed here, please contact us and we will be happy to help you.

A metal base is dark gray in color, also called mill scale. We finish this with a transparent layer of varnish so that the metal cannot oxidize. You can also choose to have the base powder coated in a RAL color.
