Dimensions – we can make the Brussels oak dining table in any desired size. Are the desired dimensions not listed among the options? The oak table can be made in any length, width, and height; whether you are looking for an oak table of 263 x 66 cm or a dining table of 320 x 105 cm; anything is possible. Wood type - the Brussels table is available in 2 different wood types. As pictured, the table is made of new oak. We only use solid oak.

Old Oak – as our name suggests; we are known for our dining tables made from Old Wood. At Oldwood, we prefer to use old materials and give them a second life. That is why most of the oak dining tables in our showroom are made from European old oak. Old oak has a weathered, rustic appearance. A table made of old oak is the most sustainable choice; the old oak tabletops are sawn from old beams that served as structural elements in old farmhouses. Old oak is a very strong type of wood and lasts indefinitely.

New oak – would you prefer a sleeker and flatter tabletop? Then new oak is the best choice. We use only FSC European approved oak. New oak has a lighter color compared to old oak and often features a number of knots and cracks in the surface. We can fill these knots and cracks.

Tabletop finish – Matte lacquer is the most common and user-friendly finish. With a matte lacquer, the oak retains its natural color and the wood appears untreated. A matte lacquer protects the wood against moisture and dirt, and the table can be wiped with a damp cloth. Alternatively, you can choose to finish the table with oil. However, periodic maintenance is required. We offer a wide range of colors; below you will find a selection of the most popular colors.
